SGS has GLP Accreditation Renewed in Italy
SGS’s Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) accreditation in Italy has been renewed for the third successive time.
Since 2012, SGS has been providing contract research services in Italy, successfully passing the statutory review of GLP accreditation that is undertaken by the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Health every two years.
The GLP certificate covers residues studies in crops and dissipation/accumulation studies in soil for all conditions across Italy’s regions. In addition, our teams also conduct rotational and ground water monitoring studies. With extensive GLP studies experience, we specialise in studies of Italy’s most heavily-produced crops such as citrus, olive trees, horticulture and rice, as well as special crops and crops under protected conditions.
SGS’s field station, located in Novara, North West Italy, performs field studies under GLP and GEP (Good Experimental Practice) rules for pan European and local clients.
