In 2016, we challenged our employees to show us how they save energy at work.
We asked them to take photos of themselves taking part in sustainable activities on SGS premises and to share them with their colleagues across the world, to inspire others to make a difference.
Employees from across the globe responded to the SGS Energy Challenge. Here are some of the best entries:
Audrey and her colleagues in France collect bottle caps to raise funds for non-profit associations.
Suljima in India decorates old boxes and turns them into pen stands.
Employees in the Netherlands reduce their travel footprints by video conferencing.
Wiktoria and her colleagues in Poland recycle old batteries to protect soil and groundwater.
By taking part in our challenge, our employees demonstrated how their individual actions can make a difference in their communities and brought us closer to achieving our sustainability ambitions for 2020.
