SGS Seminar on HR Strategies for Service Excellence
SGS Academy in Indonesia held a complimentary half-day class for HR practitioners to discuss and share their experiences on service excellence in their company.
The event was held at SGS Academy Cilandak, Jakarta, Indonesia in April 2016.
Service excellence is part of the business model. This excellence applies not just to the front line staff of an organization, but to everyone. In other words, all staff must demonstrate service excellence in everything they do. SGS Academy is proud to present a half-day seminar for HR people on how to develop a culture of service excellence in an organization. Service excellence starts with the recruitment process and is key to how continuous improvement is applied in an organization.
Knowing that service excellence is an important soft skill, and that many people are still confused on how to deliver it, SGS Academy saw this as an opportunity to introduce its Service Excellence class. Attended by 50 HR people from across several industries, Mr. Swadika Yanavi, S. Psi, M. Psi, gave insights on how to serve people with quality.
In this class, participants were expected to be able to apply service excellence through four components, which are: team empowerment (teamwork), talent management and culture program, continuous improvement (process) and business model (product). By using two-way communication, the class was lively and the participants were encouraged to share more with the class.
