SGS has been named in the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) World and Europe for the third consecutive year.
SGS was awarded an overall score of 86/100, ahead of an industry average of 48/100.
The DJSI is a globally recognized independent benchmark that measures proven company performance across material economic, environmental and social criteria. Membership is limited to organizations judged best-in-class in their sector. All companies chosen for consideration are evaluated by RobecoSAM, an investment specialist exclusively focused on sustainable investing.
SGS is the only major company from the Testing, Inspection and Certification (TIC) sector to be named in the indices.
“This recognition demonstrates our continued commitment to sustainable business and to achieve our Sustainability Ambitions 2020,” said Frankie Ng, CEO of SGS.
