Do you manufacture and sell electro-medical, In Vitro Diagnostic (IVD), or laboratory devices? When you want to ensure their quality and safety, talk to SGS. Our experts can offer advice on all aspects of quality assurance, testing and safety standards, and will be at MEDICA 2015, in Dusseldorf, Germany. This year, we will be focusing on the new EMC-standard – IEC EN 60601-1-2.

MEDICA 2015, 16 – 19 November, Messe Dusseldorf, Hall 3, Stand E83

SGS will be at MEDICA 2015, from 16–19 November, in Hall 3 at the Messe Dusseldorf. We can be found in Stand E83 – Bayern Innovativ.

This year, our main focus will be on the new EMC standard and especially the additional requirements regarding electro-magnetic compatibility of medical devices. The new version of the IEC 60601-1-2 focuses mostly on the stability and the risk management of electro-medical devices. Since these criteria should be considered in the risk analysis of the product development, producers should define the future operating conditions and locations at the earliest possible stage. Working with SGS will save you time, resources, and ensures the products you send to market comply with all of the updated standards.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us in advance. In order to arrange a meeting with our experts at MEDICA 2015 please contact SGS Germany.

We look forward to meeting you in November, at MEDICA 2015, Dusseldorf.
