The country’s agriculture industry has enjoyed exponential growth in the last 35 years, and shows no signs of slowing down. According to figures released by the Ministry of Agriculture, Brazil’s grain yield in 2015 is forecast to be 5.7 percent higher than the previous year, and it is the only sector showing significant growth despite the country’s recent political, economic and currency issues.

Argentina is a net exporter of agricultural commodities, the main exportable products being soybean and its derivatives, and corn. Peanuts are also an important product for the regional economies.
