SGS is pleased to announce that its on-site analytical laboratory, located at Masan Resources’ Nui Phao mine, is officially recognized by the Vietnamese Ministry of Science and Technology, Bureau of Accreditation for meeting the requirements of the ISO/IEC 17025 standard for specific registered tests. Conformance to ISO/IEC 17025 demonstrates technical competency for a defined scope of tests and the operation of a laboratory quality management system. This achievement is evidence of SGS’s commitment to its clients.

The Nui Phao on-site laboratory is designed to perform all required analytical services for the associated mine. Products for analysis will include production grade control samples, process plant control streams and final concentrates for sale. This laboratory strategically supports the growing needs of the Southeast Asian minerals industry and forms a key part of SGS’s unmatched global network of laboratories in Asia and around the world.
