More Than Half a Million Scans Performed by SGS in 2014
As border and port authorities across the globe tighten security measures and export/import controls, they become increasingly dependent on reliable, economically feasible scanner operations. We are pleased to report that in 2014, we helped increase the efficiency of security systems worldwide by performing more than 500,000 scans.
Since our first scanning project in 2003, we have been promoting secure international supply chains by inspecting high risk cargo quickly, without disrupting the flow of legitimate trade. Over the years, our remit has expanded to include:
- Project management
- Project financing
- Troubleshooting and repairing
- Witnessing third party testing
Today, we lead the world in the operation of cargo scanning technologies and have independent relationships with all six major suppliers of scanning equipment. Our highly skilled experts, located around the world, have the knowledge and expertise to ensure that goods move seamlessly while best practices are maintained.
