The testing and inspection company SGS is extending its services to the aerospace industry and has recently been awarded Nadcap Merit Status for the Material Testing Laboratories (MTL) sector. SGS Dortmund laboratory is the only independent testing facility in Germany with a Nadcap MTL Certification for Metallography and Hardness Testing. This means that it can officially certify critical safety tests on components for the aerospace industry.
We invite you to participate in our Aerospace Day on December 05, 2012 to understand more about the services that we offer. Our laboratories in Joseph-von-Fraunhofer-Str. 13 in Dortmund will be opened from 09:00 am. See for yourself how we can serve your needs with our release testing to Nadcap standards and our full portfolio.
In opening symposium experts share their knowledge and talk on supply chain management in the aerospace industry, Nadcap and the global challenges to suppliers of the aerospace industry, and quality control and failure analysis. Dr. Christoph Schrempp, head of Cabin & Cargo Quality at Airbus will talk on Airbus quality standards. Following the presentations, we invite you to visit our lab.
SGS is a qualified partner for Nadcap Approval Tests on metal components in Germany, such as high-performance materials in engines, structural components and landing gear.
