SGS is pleased to announce that its Clinical Pharmacology Unit in Antwerp Belgium has implemented an eSource automation system for all new clinical trials.

The eSource system (Oracle Health Sciences LabPas) is a centralized software tool which supports the recruitment of volunteers, directly captures study data electronically, and streamlines the clinical process.  This system was designed and implemented to address specific Phase I clinical study challenges such as: client access to study data, frequent changes to trial design, and the rapid pace of study setup and execution.

Key benefits include:

  • Sharing online, real-time, high quality study data with clients
  • Using the eSource system as eCRF platform eliminates (e)CRF design / hosting
  • Automation of manual processes reduces errors in data capture and improves adherence to protocol
  • Reduced time to database lock
