SGS Showcased the Improved Solar Testhouse Capabilites at Intersolar 2012
Intersolar 2012, the world's largest trade show for the Solar Technology industry took place in Munich, Germany, between June 13 - 15. SGS attended Intersolar as an exhibitor, presenting the newly improved solar testing and certification capabilities that are available through the SGS Solar Testhouse.
With more than 1,900 exhibitors from 49 countries and 66,000 visitors Intersolar 2012 was even more successful than its previous editions. In the course of three days visitors, exhibitors and some 800 journalists had a chance to sample the newest innovations in the sector, exchange ideas, attend discussions on the vision and the future for the industry.
Visitors at the SGS stand had the opportunity to learn more about the one-stop shop testing and certification service capabilities of the SGS Solar Testhouse, which now also includes fire testing in accordance to UL 790 and Potential Induced Degradation (PID) testing. An exciting new development SGS presented at Intersolar was the new cooperation with ATLAS Material Testing Technology which enables SGS to now offer long term durability testing solutions. SGS Solar Test House serves the entire value chain of the PV industry, from raw materials all the way to PV systems setup.
