In today’s Asset Integrity Management (AIM) environment, service providers must offer a robust software suite in order to compete globally in the AIM market.

Meridium is the leader in software for the Asset Performance Management (APM) solutions, whose use can improve profitability and drive forward regulatory compliance by helping to reduce production losses, optimize maintenance costs and decrease the potential for risk and other undesirable incidents.

Due to its extensive experience in the APM solutions marketplace, SGS Industrial Services in North America selected the Meridium APM solution as the best platform for future services.

The relationship will involve the integration of SGS Mechanical Integrity Management System (MIMS) to Meridium's APM enterprise software in order to provide an integrated solution which will allow SGS to maximize physical asset performance, mitigate risk and optimize the costs in a business enterprise.

With this strategic move, SGS will be able to provide a full Risk Based Inspection program and an enterprise software suite in the AIM sector for its clients. Brandon Revard, SGS N.A., Vice President, Asset Integrity Management says “SGS North America is very excited about this new relationship. We plan to leverage Meridium’s dynamic software platform (APM) with SGS’s best in class data management and asset integrity services to solidify our position as a top tier AIM bundled service provider. Strengthening our AIM portfolio through the Meridium relationship will allow further diversification and market penetration for both companies.”

As part of the agreement, SGS Industrial Services will join the Meridium Certified Services Provider (MCSP) program, which provides rigorous education and certification on Meridium’s APM software.
