SGS Re-licensed to Provide Technical Supervision over Construction
The Ministry for Regional Development of the Russian Federation licensed SGS to perform construction supervision and project management according to the Russian governmental standard.
The fact that the license has been renewed proves SGS’s competence and builds on the experience gained by the company since 2003 while providing technical supervision of civil and industrial construction sites.
The licensed scope includes following types of service:
- Collection and registration of initial design data
- Preparation of TORs for designers
- Technical support at design stage
- Obtaining permitting documentation for building and reconstruction
- Project management
- Technical supervision over construction
Andrey Kashirin, Head of Industrial Inspection Services and NDT for SGS (Russia) comments: “Our decision to renew the license is due to the high development rate of civil and industrial engineering in Moscow, St. Petersburg and other regions of Russia generating the ever growing demand for technical supervision services in construction sector. Such services are needed at both the preparation stage and the building stage.
