On the forum of World Toy’s Persistent Development on May 8th 2008, agreement on Strategic Cooperation was signed between Yunhe Industry Association, the influential governmental association and SGS-CTSC, the world leading inspection and testing institution, which showed that both sides would make great effort to promote persistent development of wooden toy in China.

The forum was held in Yunhe, "China Wooden Toy City”, was participated by more than 100 wooden toy manufacturers in Yunhe and surrounding areas, local governors, deputies of China Toy Association. Yunhe Toy association is supported by the local government industry Association, which has strong influence among more than 600 wooden toy manufacturers in local areas.

After the lead problem last year, the association organizes and assists the local manufacturers to purchase equipment, create internal control laboratory, and apply the export licence. It plays an irreplaceable role in promoting the development of Chinese wooden toy industry. The speakers from Yunhe Toy industry Association, Zhe Jiang University, Yunhe best 10 companies, etc gave wonderful speeches from their points of view on national persistent development of wooden toy.

Jeffrey Zeng, SGS-CTSC director said, ”Sustainable development is not only related to the health of consumers and the harmony of ecological environment, is also social responsibility of the corporation. The agreement between Yunhe Toy industry Association and SGS-CTSC signifies that Chinese toy association makes a solid step on the road to a new stage in the persistent development of wooden toy field."
