SGS Awards ISO 22000:2005 to Club Hotel Dolphin
Club Hotel Dolphin was awarded the ISO 22000:2005 on Food Safety Management System for operations of kitchens, stewarding, banquets, restaurants and bars. This accreditation was given by SGS Lanka, a fully owned subsidiary of SGS Geneva Switzerland, a global benchmark for quality and integrity, operating in over 145 countries.
A spokesperson for Serendib Leisure said: "Our guests are becoming increasingly aware and concerned about food safety and quality and want to be assured that the hotel meets their needs and standards.
"Therefore the ISO 22000:2005 certification demonstrates the hotel's commitment to food quality and safety at its highest possible level," he added.
This certification will no doubt give a competitive edge to Club Hotel Dolphin (CHD) to continue to strengthen its leadership positions in its category.
