The GSMA Mobile World Congress 2009 is the world's largest gathering of the mobile industry that showcases the hottest news and trends in mobile communications. An estimated 52,000 visitors gathered in 2008 to do business, discuss the latest developments in the mobile communications industry, and define its future.

The February event marks the third time SGS is attending the congress to present its ever-evolving scope of wireless testing services, the foremost being telecommunication certification testing for regulatory and certification schemes vital for a global marketplace. Examples of these include Radio and Telecommunications Terminal Equipment (RandTTE) Directive for which SGS is a notified body, Federal Communications Commission (FCC), PTCRB certification, Global Certification Forum (GCF). In addition, SGS Wireless is able to offer Bluetooth, WiFi and CCF certification for CDMA devices. Other services include EMC, OTA, Safety, RoHS, and SAR testing and the 2009 roadmap and expertise will assist our clients into Long Term Evolution (LTE).
