The Global Standard for Packaging Materials Issue 6 was published in August 2019 and came into force on February 1, 2020. This webinar will provide a summary of non-conformities raised during audits against this new issue of the standard from the first 12 months.
The focus of attention has been on supplier approval and performance monitoring along with management of subcontracted activities and outsourced processes, product authenticity, claims and chain of custody, environmental monitoring program and site standards. Requirements for traded products were also recognized as challenging clauses.
The objective of this webinar is to explore the challenges for Issue 6, 12 months after the initial release and provide further guidance to sites.
