Background
The chemical industry is a key manufacturing sector in the UK. While the current compliance practice is in accordance with REACH, Brexit will have a significant impact on this sector as the UK Government has stated that the UK would not participate in the ECHA or the EU regulatory framework for chemicals after the transition period.
The UK government has published guidance for manufactured, imported and exported goods placed on the UK market after the Brexit transitional arrangements come to an end on December 31, 2020.
