The transition period for EMC Standard EN 60601-1-2 Edition 4 for medical devices in Europe ends on December 31, 2018. We are often asked about EMC test plans, EMC risk management, related documentation and the setting of testing parameters, as well as acceptance criteria. If you have any questions about this, join our experts at Medica, at Stand E 83 in Hall 3, where the team will be ready to answer your questions.
Other major target markets, such as the US and Canada, will also transition to the new version at the end of the year. China, Japan, Brazil and South Korea have not yet set a transition period for the 4th edition.
