This 45-minute webinar addresses the upcoming changes regarding the physical and mechanical requirements in EN 71-1 and in EN 71-2.

  • Applicable and harmonized toy standard
  • Changes on projectiles
  • Changes on cords
  • Changes on flammability
  • Q&A

Toy standards are continuously reviewed in order to stay up to date with safety principles, new products and designs, and technological advances. We want to keep you up-to-date with upcoming changes so that you are alerted before the standards' final publication.

Two major projects are ongoing for EN 71-1, relating to projectiles and cords. There is a third project, which is related to various subjects and is a result of various interpretation requests.
