The BRC reviews and revises the Global Standard for Food Safety about once in every 3 years. Issue 7 of the standard has been rewritten and was published in January 2015. All users of the standard will be audited to Issue 7 from the 1st July 2015. Understanding the changes is key to successful implementation of the new and revised requirements and additional fundamental requirements.
