Background
The BRC reviews and revises the Global Standard for Food Safety about once in every three years. Issue 7 of the standard has been in the re-write process for the last six months and is now ready for publication in January 2015. Audits against the standard will start in July 2015.
All users of the standard will be audited to Issue 7 from July 1, 2015. Understanding the changes is key to successful implementation of new and revised requirements.
