Jennifer Lott serves as the Technical Development Director – Food at SGS North America, bringing over 25 years of expertise in food safety, quality management systems, and sustainability. Her extensive background encompasses manufacturing, quality assurance, auditing, and consulting, with a particular emphasis on integrating sustainable practices into food safety protocols.

At SGS, Jennifer has been instrumental in developing and implementing sustainable food safety management systems. She has led initiatives aligning with global sustainability standards, ensuring that food production processes not only meet safety requirements but also promote environmental responsibility.

Jennifer is also an accredited Lead Auditor and Trainer for various standards, including FSSC 22000 and BRCGS for Packaging and Packaging Materials. Her role involves training professionals on incorporating sustainability into compliance and certification processes, emphasizing the importance of sustainable practices in achieving long-term food safety goals.

Rebecca Tarrien

Project Manager, Regulatory Sciences, SGS Nutrasource

Rebecca Tarrien holds dual B.S. degrees in Biology and Molecular Biology & Microbiology, graduating with Honors from the University of Central Florida. She served as a Research Fellow in the Department of Microbiology & Immunology at the University of Michigan for two years and has four years of research experience studying microbial pathogens between her time at the University of Central Florida and the University of Michigan. Rebecca has over 11 years of regulatory and scientific experience in the dietary supplement and nutrition industry. Her expertise includes extensive work with live microbial ingredients in product development and formulation, labeling and regulatory compliance, marketing and claim substantiation, and GRAS and NDIN dossiers.

Jason Wong

Director of Commercial Development, SGS North America

With over 20 years of experience in the testing service industry, Jason has taken on various key roles in laboratories before transitioning to sales. Some of the highlights of his laboratory experience include contaminant method validations using LC-MS/MS and HPLC and bioactive methods optimization. He is also an active board member for IASC, The International Aloe Science Council.

Killian Donoher

Business Development Manager, SGS North America

Killian joined SGS a little over a year ago as the Business Development Manager for the West Coast in Food and Nutrition. Originally from Ireland, Killian moved to the U.S. 10 years ago. He comes with an extensive background in food safety and quality, serving in quality roles over the last 10 years in FDA and USDA manufacturing facilities and for major food brands.
