Charles is the Forestry Products Manager at SGS North America, where he oversees the Forestry Chain of Custody (CoC) program for FSC, PEFC, and SFI certificate holders. In this capacity, Charles provides technical support to auditors and certificate holders, manages and maintains the program’s compliance with accreditation standards, and streamlines operational procedures and processes. He has over 10 years of experience in forestry Chain of Custody certifications and has executed hundreds of audits across 11 countries and multiple languages. Charles has an MBA from the University of San Diego, a Master’s in International Relations from the University of California San Diego, and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina.

Cindy began her career in the certification industry 20 years ago as a Global Key Account Manager for another certification body, where she helped large international companies achieve their certification objectives. In 2016, she began providing training solutions as well as handling customer support and operational processes. Cindy joined SGS in January 2022 and works to provide solutions that help clients meet their goals. She specializes in management system standards, including those that address quality, health and safety, and environmental concerns.
