International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC) PLUS certification is used across various industries to demonstrate their commitment to sustainability, circular economy, and bio-economy practices. Benefits include traceability, credibility, market access, regulatory compliance, brand image, and consumer trust.
The food and feed industries have a significant number of ISCC PLUS certifications due to the industry's push towards transparency in sourcing, regulatory compliance, market demand for sustainable products, global trade in stringent markets (e.g., EU), supply chain requirements, and managing risk and brand reputation.
There have been many updates to the ISCC PLUS standard over the past three years, and it’s critical that companies stay current with the new requirements as they consider and maintain certification.
