Thailand Mandates Several Standards for Dye Products

Thailand has mandated five standards for synthetic dyes. These will become effective on August 19, 2023.

In August 2022, Thailand issued a Ministerial Regulation to mandate several Thai Industrial Standards (TIS) for synthetic dye products.

Highlights of these standards are summarized in Table 1

The aforementioned standards will become a legal requirement on August 19, 2023 – 365 days after publication in the Government Gazette.
