We operate five state-of-the-art commercial laboratories in Tanzania, ensuring reliable, accurate and timely results:
- Geochemical commercial lab in Mwanza (geochemical testing and analysis)
- Environmental lab in Mwanza (physiochemical and microbiological analysis)
- Oil condition monitoring (OCM) lab in Dar es Salaam
- Agricultural commodities lab in Dar es Salaam
- Oil, gas and chemicals lab in Dar es Salaam
At the heart of our infrastructure is our multilab in Kurasini, Dar es Salaam, offering integrated solutions for the agriculture, oil and gas sectors, with a broad range of accredited testing parameters.
Client-dedicated onsite laboratories
We operate four specialized onsite laboratories, embedded within major mining and industrial operations:
- Barrick North Mara gold mine. This lab uses photon assay technology
- Geita geochemical lab gold mine
- Geita OCM lab in Geita gold mine
- Mtwara coal lab in Mtwara
We also deploy mobile sample preparation units (MSPUs) to remote locations, enabling faster turnaround times, onsite decision making and enhanced operational efficiency.
Trusted supplier of services to government authorities
We work with a range of government authorities, including:
- Energy and Water Utilities Regulatory Authority, providing laboratory, certification and training services
- Tanzania Bureau of Standards (TBS) and Zanzibar Bureau of Standards (ZBS), providing a product conformity assessment (PCA/PVoC) program
In Tanzania, we hold the following accreditations:
- Our Mwanza labs are ISO/IEC 17025 accredited by CALA
- Our Dar es Salaam labs are ISO/IEC 17025 accredited by KENAS
- Our inspection services are ISO/IEC 17020 accredited
- Our PCA/PVoC program is ISO 9001 certified
- Our management system certification services are provided under UKAS accreditation
