SGS Thailand Approved as BYD

SGS (Thailand) Limited, the world's leading Testing, Inspection and Certification company, has been officially approved as BYD Third-party Laboratory supplier, reinforcing its expertise in delivering comprehensive testing services in line with Automotive industry.

This approval covers SGS laboratories across Thailand in Chonburi, Rayong, and Bangkok, under certificate no. BYD-HRK07-20260319. The accredited scope includes key automotive testing such as hazardous substances (Pb, Cd, Hg), flammability, environmental durability (Xenon Arc, Salt Spray), material and surface performance, as well as interior emissions (odor, formaldehyde and TVOC), in accordance with international standards including ISO, SAE, ASTM, IEC, and VDA.

This milestone highlights SGS Thailand’s commitment to supporting global automotive manufacturers—especially in the evolving EV landscape—through reliable, high-precision testing solutions.
