FSSC 22000 (Food Safety System Certification) is a globally recognized food safety management system endorsed by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI). It integrates ISO 22000 with industry-specific prerequisite programs (PRPs) and additional FSSC requirements to ensure comprehensive control over food safety risks throughout the production process.
For the Liquor Distillery Organization, achieving FSSC 22000 certification affirms its commitment to producing alcoholic beverages that meet stringent safety and quality standards. This includes rigorous control over raw materials, production processes, storage, and transportation—ensuring consumer safety and confidence.
ISO 50001 (Energy Management System) demonstrates the organization’s dedication to efficient energy use and environmental responsibility. By applying the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) cycle, the Liquor Organization can continuously improve its energy performance, reduce operational costs, and contribute to sustainable development goals.
These certifications reflect the Liquor Distillery Organization’s strategic vision to enhance operational excellence, mitigate risks, and align with global sustainability standards. They also reinforce the organization’s role as a model government entity in Thailand’s beverage industry.
During the certification ceremony, Mr. Pongsak Namthanee, Certification Manager for Strategic Products at SGS, presented the certificates to Ms. Anyarin Hassathathi, Head of Administration Department, Mr. Thanet Oepimritthi, Head of Production Department, and Mr. Teerat Raksri, Head of Quality Control and Development Division.
