The Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR) and the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) are key new regulations guiding product sustainability in the European Union (EU). Manufacturers, importers and exporters will have expanded obligations related to product design, documentation and supply chain transparency to ensure their wireless products can be sold safely and legally on the EU market.
This webinar provides an overview of what these changes will mean and how companies can prepare. Supply chain transparency is a central requirement under CBAM, and ESPR rules extend beyond energy efficiency to address product durability, repairability and life cycle performance. These regulatory tools and their requirements will be explored, including how ESPR and the Digital Product Passport (DPP) affect product design and documentation. Common compliance challenges will be identified and insights given into recent wireless regulation updates.
Products must now be both sustainable and technically compliant – for the electronics sector, the new ‘green’ rules are just as important as the technical standards for wireless and radio equipment. The webinar will provide clear guidance on how these two requirements can be managed, as well as essential updates to help your company stay competitive and keep your products market-ready.
