We were pleased to participate in ENOC Processing Company Limited's (EPCL) Safety Day, held at the Jebel Ali Free Zone Refinery, where our Environmental, Health & Safety team delivered an Environmental Awareness presentation as part of the day's programme.

The session highlighted the importance of environmental responsibility in the workplace and explored practical actions that individuals and organizations can take to reduce their environmental impact while supporting long-term sustainability goals.
Key topics covered
The presentation focused on several critical environmental themes, including:
- UAE environmental regulations and compliance
- Climate change and its impact on the UAE
- Environmental impacts at a broader societal level
- Everyday actions employees can take to reduce their environmental footprint
- The importance of reducing, reusing and recycling resources, including eliminating single-use plastics
- Environmental impact mitigation measures across industrial operations
- The role of biodiversity protection in supporting sustainable development
Through these discussions, participants gained practical insights into how environmental stewardship can be embedded into both individual behaviors and organizational practices.

Why environmental awareness matters
Environmental awareness goes beyond regulatory compliance. It empowers employees to recognize the impact of their daily activities, supports organizations in reducing environmental risks and contributes to broader sustainability objectives. By combining technical expertise with practical guidance, organizations can build a stronger environmental culture that creates lasting value for people, businesses and the environment.
Building awareness through collaboration
Knowledge sharing is a key driver of continuous improvement. By contributing to initiatives such as EPCL's Safety Day, we help organizations strengthen environmental awareness, encourage responsible decision-making and foster a culture where sustainability becomes part of everyday operations.
We were also honored to receive a memento from EPCL in recognition of our continued collaboration as their environmental service provider.
We thank the EPCL team for the invitation and the opportunity to contribute to an initiative that reinforces our shared commitment to environmental responsibility, workplace safety and sustainable business practices.
