We participated in the 25th China International Dyestuff Industry and Organic Pigments, Textile Chemicals Exhibition (China Interdye 2026) held in Shanghai. As part of the concurrent forum program, we co-hosted a dedicated session within the ‘ZDHC Solutions Roadshow Seminar 2026’, focusing on current industry developments and best practices in sustainable chemicals management.
ZDHC progress, digital solutions and regulatory insights

Shinne Li, Senior Manager of ZDHC East Asia Region
Shinne Li, Senior Manager, ZDHC East Asia Region, began the session with an update on ZDHC’s progress and emerging industry trends. She highlighted the organization’s continued development as a global infrastructure that enables sustainable chemicals management across textile, apparel, leather and footwear sectors. Through harmonized standards, platforms and tools, ZDHC empowers greater transparency, consistency and collaboration across global supply chains.

Daniel Zhao, Global Technical Innovation Project Manager, SGS, then provided an in-depth overview of Chemical to Zero (CtZ) and demonstrated how digital solutions can strengthen chemical management practices. He introduced the SGS Intelligent Chemical Management Platform and the InCheck Verification Program, outlining how they support improved operational efficiency and data transparency. He also explained how the combined use of InCheck and Verified InCheck allows structured self-assessments alongside independent third-party verification, supporting clearer supplier compliance evaluation and enhanced trust across the supply chain.

Finally, Seeker He, Global Technical Innovation Project Manager, SGS, presented Supplier to Zero Level 1 and Level 2 one-stop solutions, alongside updates on per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) compliance, regulatory trends and carbon reduction practices for the textile chemicals industry.
Addressing the growing regulatory focus on PFAS, he outlined tightening compliance requirements and potential risk areas, referencing recent developments under EU REACH and POPs regulations, as well as emerging national frameworks in the United States, France, Denmark and other markets. He also shared our experience in product carbon footprint management, aligned with the Together for Sustainability (TfS) initiative.
Water-repellent receives ‘No PFAS Detected’ certificate
During the exhibition, we awarded the first ‘No PFAS Detected’ green mark certificate for a water-repellent agent to Transfar Zhilian Co., Ltd. The certificate was presented by Eva Gao, Marketing Manager, Softlines, China, SGS, to Shi Jianfeng, General Manager of the Textile Chemical Waterproof Business Unit, Transfar Functional Chemicals, at a special technical exchange session organized by Transfar Zhilian Co., Ltd., and the China Dyestuff Industry Association.

Eva Gao presents ‘No PFAS Detected’ green mark to Shi Jianfeng, witnessed by Carol Chen, Senior Director, Softlines, China, SGS, and Chen Bo, Vice President of Transfar Functional Chemicals, Textile Chemicals Division.
Due to their persistence, bioaccumulative properties and potential toxicity, PFAS are subject to increasing environmental scrutiny worldwide. The TRANSWR TF-501M product successfully met our stringent ‘No PFAS Detected’ testing requirements, delivering a safer and more sustainable water-repellent solution for downstream brands and manufacturers. This achievement also sets a strong benchmark for sustainable innovation across the textile dyeing and finishing industry.
We remain committed to supporting the industry’s transition toward safer chemicals, greater transparency and more responsible practices across the textile and apparel value chain.
