On Wednesday, October 11, from 10:25 to 11:10 am, at the Biodiversity and Natural Environment area, Dr. Filipe Cadete, Bioinformatics Manager of SGS’s Global Biosciences Center and Dr. Amelie Barthes, Sales Engineer for SGS’s Environmental Analytics in France will be giving a talk on “E-DNA as a tracer for bioremediation and diversity”. It will include a discussion of how the Global Biosciences Center has optimized molecular biology techniques for detecting organisms by analyzing various matrices. This talk will be in French.
On Thursday, October 12, from 3:00 to 3:45 pm, at the Contaminated Sites and Soil area, Oliver Buchholz, Country Manager for SGS’s Environmental Analysis in France, will be speaking on “SGS expertise made available to a constantly evolving world”. The presentation will include discussions of perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl (PFAS) compounds and inert waste storage facilities (ISDI). It will be given in French.
