Advancing Digital Trust in Pakistan Through Integrated Frameworks

April 10, 2026

Recently, industry professionals gathered in Lahore, Pakistan for a Cybersecurity Seminar to explore a critical question for modern organizations, how to build measurable digital trust in an AI driven environment.

The seminar, titled “The Building Blocks of Digital Trust: Integrating AI Assurance, Cybersecurity, Privacy and Business Resilience Frameworks,” examined how organizations can align ISO 27001, ISO 22301, ISO 27701 and ISO 42001 to move beyond fragmented compliance activities toward integrated assurance and operational resilience.

Experts shared strategic perspectives on governance, AI assurance and digital trust, alongside practical insights into emerging cybersecurity and privacy challenges. A key focus was the integration of security, privacy and business continuity frameworks to support resilient and scalable operations.

Khawaja Faisal Javed, Senior Manager Operations and Digital Trust Lead at SGS Pakistan, emphasized the need for a structured approach to trust, highlighting how organizations often invest in multiple frameworks, yet struggle to connect them into a single operating model. Digital trust becomes measurable only when these systems are aligned and embedded into daily operations.

The event also featured a panel discussion with professionals from corporate and governmental organizations, addressing real world implementation challenges, future priorities and the role of responsible technology adoption in strengthening organizational trust.

The audience included CISOs, CIOs, DPOs, GRC professionals, IT leaders, resilience managers and AI practitioners, all engaged in focused dialogue on governance, resilience and trust.

A clear takeaway emerged from the discussions, digital trust is not built through standalone controls, but through integrated frameworks, cross functional collaboration and a structured approach to assurance.

Digital trust is not a policy outcome, it is an operational discipline that must be continuously measured and improved.
