About the BRCGS Food Safety
BRCGS Global Food Safety Standard is a globally recognized framework for food safety management, particularly relevant to manufacturers producing private-label goods. Endorsed by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI), it ensures product safety, legality, integrity, and quality throughout the production chain.
Business Impact: Benefits of Certification for GMG
By achieving BRCGS Global Standard for Food Safety and HACCP certification, GMG has not only reinforced its operational excellence but also created significant value across its food business. The certifications act as a testament to GMG’s robust systems and forward-looking strategy in the food industry.
Ensure the Highest Levels of Food Safety and Hygiene
The certification confirms that GMG’s food production processes meet globally accepted benchmarks for hygiene, hazard control and risk management. From raw material handling to final product packaging, every step is governed by strict safety protocols that minimize contamination risks and safeguard consumer health.
Boost Internal Efficiency Through Enhanced Process Controls
Implementing BRCGS Food Safety helps GMG streamline workflows and build more structured operational systems. With clear procedures, defined responsibilities and stronger documentation practices, the company has improved traceability, reduced waste and eliminated redundancies.
Increase Customer Trust by Aligning with International Food Safety Expectations
Earning BRCGS provides GMG’s partners, retailers and end consumers with an added layer of confidence in the safety, integrity and consistency of its food products.
New Market Access and Strengthen Global Brand Positioning
Holding certifications that are recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) and international regulatory authorities enables GMG to access new distribution channels and collaborate with leading retailers worldwide. It strengthens the brand's competitiveness, especially in export markets where third-party certification is often a prerequisite.
Reinforce Commitment to Regulatory Compliance and Continuous Improvement
The audit process and ongoing certification maintenance drive a culture of accountability and progress. GMG is not only compliant with local and international food safety laws but also embraces a mindset of continuous improvement.
