Flexible scope of accreditation
Some of the tests performed by SGS’s laboratories in Poland are covered by the flexible scope of accreditation (EZA).
This applies to:
- A wide range of physicochemical analyses in food and feed samples
- The range of microbiological analyses in food and feed samples, from food production to marketing

- Elemental analyses of environmental samples
Approval of sanitary services
The water testing quality system implemented at SGS’s laboratories in Poland have been approved by the relevant state district sanitary inspectors, hereby authorizing our laboratories at these locations to test water intended for human consumption:

Approval of veterinary inspections
Our food testing laboratory in Oltarzew has been approved by the Chief Veterinarian to perform official tests in the field of microbiological testing of food of animal origin:

Good Laboratory Practice
SGS’s laboratory in Poland holds a Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) certificate, issued by the Bureau of Chemical Substances, confirming compliance with GLP principles in the analytical portion of studies: behavior of substances in water, soil and air, bioaccumulation and residues.

Good Manufacturing Practice
Our environmental laboratory in Pszczyna has a GMP+ B11 Good Manufacturing Practice Certificate, issued by SGS Products & Process Certification, confirming compliance with GMP+ principles for aflatoxin, dioxin and heavy metal testing:
