Turkey’s Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change has published the Regulation on the Management of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment. This became effective on February 1, 2023.
On December 26, 2022, the Turkish Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change published the Regulation on the Management of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment in Official Gazette No. 32055.
The purpose of this regulation is to protect the environment in a sustainable way:
With the publication of this regulation, the Regulation on the Control of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment published in the Official Gazette dated 22/5/2012 and numbered 28300 was repealed.
