SGS Academy Oman recently concluded Muscat Stock Exchange MSX ESG 30 Metrics Training course, a comprehensive 2-day workshop conducted at the SGS Oman premises.
The workshop is designed to guide participants through the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standard for sustainability reporting, alongside a detailed examination of MSX ESG 30 metrics, providing attendees with an opportunity to deepen their understanding of sustainability reporting and its impact on the environment, society, and corporate governance.
This training course offered an opportunity to all attendees to deepen the understanding of sustainability reporting and its impact on the environment, social and corporate governance specifically tailored to meet the disclosure requirements of the Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX).
The course focused on 30 ESG metrics, helping participants understand how to track, measure, and report key environmental, social, and governance performance indicators, and align them with globally accepted standards.

Participants of the MSX ESG 30 Metrics Training benefitted from an interactive learning experience, with hands-on practice in applying key metrics and sustainability data. The workshop also provided in-depth discussions on ESG disclosure requirements and their alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), while participants received expert feedback on best practices in ESG reporting.
