Accelerating Cereal Breeding Through Genotyping

Join our live webinar to learn more about cereal genotyping for research and plant breeding.

Single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) genotyping is now being widely used in cereal genetics and breeding. It is used for the characterization of genetic resources, breeding germplasm and varieties. Many cereal species (wheat, triticale, oat) are allopolyploid species which makes high-precision genotyping and allele calling difficult.

Objective

This webinar will introduce the genotyping expertise of SGS INSTITUT FRESENIUS GmbH TraitGenetics Section (SGS IF TG) for various cereal species. Our high density, intermediate density and low density genotyping arrays are optimized to reliably generate high quality genotypic data.
