As the new energy arm of the Sarawak Economic Development Corporation (SEDC), SEDCE is driving the state's energy transformation through initiatives in hydrogen development, multifuel stations, mobility solutions and alternative energy technologies. Certification to these internationally recognized standards provides a structured management framework to support the organization’s expanding portfolio while strengthening stakeholder confidence.

A structured path to certification
The audit journey began in September 2025 and was successfully concluded in May 2026. Throughout the implementation process, SEDCE worked to establish a robust management system by aligning business processes, strengthening documentation, increasing organization-wide awareness and embedding a culture of continual improvement across its operations.
The certification demonstrated the organization’s commitment to adopting a risk-based and process-driven approach within the organization. As a result, SEDCE has strengthened cross-functional collaboration, improved governance, enhanced operational efficiency and reinforced confidence among customers and stakeholders.
