On 26 May 2023, SGS Pakistan conducted the BESTSELLER Vendor Day in Karachi Office. The purpose of this session was to support local textile manufacturers in understanding the buyer’s quality assurance program.
BESTSELLER is an international fashion company owning more than 20 brands, including JACK & JONES, VERO MODA and ONLY. BESTSELLER’s global supply chain partners include more than 500 suppliers. The brand exercises a stringent quality assurance program in partnership with SGS Pakistan.
The Vendor Day was organized to help Pakistani suppliers comply with BESTSELLER’s requirements and guide them through SGS Platforms.
The event included various activities such as:
- Interactive discussion about common issues faced by suppliers and root cause analysis
- Awareness session regarding new manual
- Test selection on different garments
- Case studies
- Self-assessment test
- Visit of the SGS Laboratory
All participants were awarded with certificates for attending the session.
We tried to make this session as much interactive and insightful as possible, and were glad to hear highly positive feedback from the participants.
