SGS will join the DIOXIN2023 congress as a platinum sponsor. The 43rd international symposium on halogenated persistent organic pollutants (POPs) takes place from September 10-14 at MECC in Maastricht.
DIOXIN2023 will focus on the science of dioxins and additional halogenated persistent organic pollutants (POPs). It will explore major advances in analytical determination, the understanding of emissions, transport, fate, degradation, toxic behavior, regulations, increased awereness in developing countries and global pollution issues.
PFASafe® – Next Level Analysis
As a leading expert in sampling and analytical research for POPs and PFAS, SGS will attend DIOXIN2023.
PFAS pose a current and pressing issue. More and more stakeholders want a quick and complete picture of the presence of these forever chemicals in products or in the environment. At DIOXIN2023 we present our revolutionary PFASafe® – Next Level Analysis. This method provides a three-step insight of the presence of PFAS in soil, water, air, consumer products and/or food. It allows clear and unambiguous assessment of whether the degradation of products made of fluorinated components will eventually pose a human risk.
Overall PFAS analysis
With PFASafe® – Next Level Analysis we are the first laboratory to develop an overall PFAS analysis solution. It includes all PFAS components – rather than just those banned by (European) legislation and regulations e.g., PFOA, PFOS and HFPO-DA, which form only one percent of the total number of PFAS. More extensive research is needed as legislation becomes increasingly stringent in the near future.
During DIOXIN2023, you can find us at exhibition floor stand C3. Join us to discover our unique research methods.
DIOXIN2023 is an interdisciplinary forum for communicating scientific advances and emerging issues in a friendly atmosphere. For the first time in five years this scientific Symposium is back in Europe. Up to one thousand international delegates are expected to visit the event. In conjunction with the symposium, there will be an exhibition involving instrumentation, chemical products, accessories, analytical companies, scientific journals, legal entities and research centers.
