We are delighted to announce the opening of a new toy laboratory in Cambodia, offering comprehensive testing services to local suppliers and international buyers. Testing at the Phnom Penh facility will begin in early December 2025, providing full physical and chemical assessments for plush and costume toys produced in the country.
As Cambodia continues to emerge as a key center for toy manufacturing and sourcing, the new Phnom Penh laboratory is strategically positioned to meet growing local and global demand. The facility will support clients seeking cost-effective testing solutions with faster turnaround times, closer to their production hubs.
The laboratory will offer an extensive scope of testing services, including:
- Physical: mechanical, physical property and flammability testing
- Chemical: total and soluble heavy metals, bisphenol A (BPA), flame retardants, formamide, phenol and migration of certain elements (including 19 toxic elements)
The laboratory will provide testing against EU and US regulatory requirements, including accreditation for the EN-71 series and ASTM F963 standards. We also anticipate achieving ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation and CPSC approval by December 2025.
For the first time in Cambodia, these services will deliver timely, accessible and cost-efficient expertise to support both local manufacturers and international buyers. Centrally located and well-connected, the new laboratory ensures seamless access to high-quality compliance services.
