17 February 2023, Mumbai: SGS is happy to announce the support extended to the Diviniti Charitable School for underprivileged children in Palghar (Thane), for facility renovation, hygiene, and sanitation as well as digitization of the classrooms.
Implemented over a period of 5 months, the project included:
- Infrastructure Development – reinforcement of compound wall, levelling and flooring of the compound, provision of benches for students and painting of the entire school building.
- Sanitation – provision of new and clean toilets and safe drinking water.
- Digital Smart Classroom – providing digital learning tools and screens in the classrooms to make use of engaging online presentation, content and applications to impart education.
This initiative would directly benefit more than 200 students of the Diviniti Charitable School in Palghar, Thane. Through such continuous interventions, investments in revamping school infrastructure and introducing smart classrooms in various locations across India, SGS has been positively impacting lives of hundreds of students in the underserved communities in the country to empower equality, wellbeing, and prosperity for a sustainable future.
