When looking for safe cookware products it is good to be aware of all safety regulations that certain products need to comply with. In February 2023, EU had published an updated version of EN 12983 Parts 1 & 2, specifying the requirements for domestic cookware for use on top of a stove, cooker, or hob, superseding the 2000 edition with amendment/corrigendum and CEN/TS 12983-2: 2005 respectively.
