Selling Toys in China: What You Need to Know About the Mandatory Certification

Which toys are within scope of CCC? What materials do you need for certification application? How can SGS help? Our experts have all the answer for successful market entry.

Abstract

Toys imported to China are subject to mandatory certification requirements, either under the CCC certification program, or national (GB) standards and technical specifications.  The need for CCC certification is dictated by the Implementation Rules, whereas the required tests are prescribed by the corresponding GB Standards.  The Implementation rules will define the scope for product testing, as well as the overall process that will need to be completed before CCC certification can be issued.

Recently, SGS has gained accreditation to test toys against the China Compulsory Certification (CCC) standard at our Hong Kong laboratory and we're pleased to invite you to join our webinar on Friday, October 16th, 2020 where our experts will provide some background information about CCC and the application process for market entry.
