New Renewable Energy Services
As your trusted partner for navigating renewable energy’s growth, we deliver expert testing, inspection, certification and advisory services across renewable energy projects. Our tailored solutions help clients optimize energy efficiency, ensure compliance and accelerate progress toward their low-carbon and net-zero objectives.
Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF)
SAF is key to reducing aviation’s carbon emissions and combating climate change. Hong Kong is advancing SAF development to meet environmental targets and promote greener aviation. SAF offers significant emission reduction benefits and supports sustainable industry growth.
We assist industry leaders with quantity surveying, quality control testing and consulting services. Our expertise helps ensure SAF projects comply with high standards, facilitating the aviation sector’s transition to more sustainable fuel sources.

Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG)
LNG acts as a transitional fuel in maritime decarbonization, delivering significant reductions in greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions compared to traditional marine fuels. By cutting emissions by 23-25% immediately, LNG paves the way for a shift to net-zero through the adoption of bio-LNG and e-LNG, supported by growing infrastructure and fleet integration.
We provide comprehensive quantity survey and quality control services for industry leaders as they navigate the transition to sustainable maritime fuels.
Green methanol
Green methanol is emerging as a vital alternative fuel for shipping, aligning with Hong Kong's goal of carbon neutrality by 2050. The city plans to provide bunkering services for LNG and green methanol over 60 times a year by 2030, totalling over 200,000 tonnes. This initiative supports environmental goals and drives innovation in clean energy. We offer comprehensive quantity survey and quality control services for industry leaders navigating this transition to sustainable maritime fuels.

Biofuels (B24 & B30)
B24 and B30 are marine biofuel blends containing 24% and 30% renewable biodiesel, respectively, typically sourced from waste-based feedstocks. These blends provide a sustainable drop-in alternative to conventional marine fuels, significantly reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
As essential components of the future maritime energy mix, biofuels play a vital role in maritime decarbonization. The increasing availability and regulatory acceptance of these fuels, along with the initiatives of leading suppliers in ports like Hong Kong, highlight their critical importance in achieving the IMO's 2050 net-zero goal for shipping.
Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO)
Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO) is a renewable diesel alternative gaining traction in Hong Kong’s aviation and logistics sectors. Made by hydrogenating plant oils and fats, HVO cuts carbon emissions by up to 90% compared to fossil diesel. HVO can be used as a direct replacement for fossil diesel in many existing engines without requiring engine modifications, provided the engines are approved for HVO under EN15940 specifications.
We provide expert quantity surveying, quality control testing and consulting services to support the adoption of HVO, ensuring compliance and boosting sustainability across sectors relying on cleaner fuel solutions.

Hydrogen
Hydrogen, produced from renewable energy via electrolysis, is a clean, efficient fuel with zero emissions except water. It has diverse uses in transport, heating, and power generation. Hong Kong is investing to develop a sustainable hydrogen economy, enhancing energy security and meeting climate goals despite challenges.
We support hydrogen industry players with comprehensive services – quantity surveying, quality control, and consulting – to ensure safe, efficient and compliant hydrogen solutions as this energy source expands.
