Product Scope

The present document specifies technical characteristics and methods of measurements for Non-specific Short-range Devices category equipment types.  For example: 433 MHz remote control, 868 MHz alarm, etc.

Significant Changes

• Clause 3
  • Add two definitions in clause 3.1: Nomadic use & Portable use
• Clause 4
  • Change the description of the applicability for PSD in clause 4.3.2.0: Deleting annex B bands L, and changing annex C band X to band W, AA & AC
  • Change the description of the applicability for ACP in clause 4.3.9.0: Changing annex C band AA to band AF
  • Change the description of the applicability for FHSS equipment in clause 4.3.10.0: Adding the operating frequency range 863 MHz to 870 MHz
  • Change the limit for blocking in clause 4.4.2.2: Deleting the category 3 receiver

  • Change the requirement for band D in Table B.1: Adding 10% for metering devices duty cycle limit
  • Change the requirement for band E, G & M in Table B.1: Deleting the application of the equipment
  • Change the requirement for band L in Table B.1: Deleting the requirement of PSD
  • Delete the requirement for band O in Table B.1
• Annex C
  • Delete the requirement for 169.475-169.600 MHz in Table C.1
  • Add the requirement for band U, V, W, X and AB in Table C.1
  • Add the requirement of APC for band AA in Table C.1
  • Change the OBW requirement from the whole band to 7 MHz for band Z in Table C.1
