The SGS Worldwide Fuel Survey is the world’s most comprehensive digital database of real-world fuel quality assessments, covering more than 200 countries and territories. For over three decades, it has been the reference point for fuel performance and compliance data, trusted by global leaders in the energy, automotive and chemical industries.
The survey provides detailed laboratory analyses of the physical and chemical characteristics of a wide range of fuels, including diesel, gasoline, jet fuel, biofuels, synthetic fuels, gaseous fuels (CNG, LPG, hydrogen), heating oil and paraffinic fuels.
SGS Worldwide Fuel Survey data is based on consistent fuel sampling campaigns carried out every summer and winter. Samples are taken directly by our inspectors from fuel stations worldwide and analyzed at the SGS Fuel Technology Center in Speyer, Germany, our world-class research and development and testing hub.
