SGS laboratory of Cestas (former Sercovam), dedicated to destructive testing, provides analysis and performance tests for all kind of industries.
The covered tests are:
UV photo-aging, mechanical, appearance test, interior air quality, mechanical, climatic, corrosion, vibrations, E&E measurements...
These 2 laboratories specialized in destructive testing are accredited and able to test, analyze and validate a wide range of products according to specifications or standards required in all manufacturing industries (automotive, aeronautics, rail, marine, medical, etc.).

Quality : recognitions
The SGS laboratory of Cestas is regularly audited and validated by main industrial OEMs to ensure that results meet the standards and methods required and designed by the manufacturers themselves (Renault-Nissan, PSA, VW, Toyota, Airbus, Dassault, …).
It's approved for almost all tests it performs : climatic, corrosion, photo aging, pressure cycling, appearance testing, mechanical, vibration, etc..
This laboratory is also recognized by stakeholders as active participants in the testing methods improvements.
Quality : accreditations
The laboratory of Cestas is accredited by the Cofrac
According to international standard ISO/CEI 17025 (ref. 1-6465 and 1-6468, sites and scopes available on https://www.cofrac.fr/).
This recognition ensures the technical competence and reliability of the results provided by our laboratories, on the scope of accreditation considered.
It meets requirements of the global automotive quality standards,
which is IATF 16949:2016 (§7.1.5.3.2 External Laboratory). Thanks to the multilateral agreements to which Cofrac is a signatory, this accreditation is recognized in most countries in the world, by bodies such as DAKKS in Germany, ENAC in Spain, and UKAS in the UK.
NADCAP accreditation
(non-metallic material testing program) for composite material characterization. This accreditation is recognized by major aerospace companies.
